UA Athlete & Australian Distance Runner
Morgan McDonald is an Australian Distance runner. He competed in the Men's 5000 metres at the 2017 World Championships in Athletics and 2019 World Championships in Athletics. McDonald is one of the best distance runners to come out of D1 NCAA athletics, where he competed for Wisconsin.
He was a Four-Time NCAA Champion and a seven time All- American. He became the fastest UW undergrad in the 5000 meters (13:15.83). He currently trains in Boulder Colorado and is training for the 2021 Olympic Games.
