Executive Director of Gulf Swimming
Julie Bachman is the Executive Director of the Gulf Swimming LSC, which includes Houston it's surrounding areas. Bachman has significant outside-of-swimming experience after spending 14 years in sales and marketing for ConAgra Foods, 25 years managing a cow-calf farm operation, and 6 years running her own bar/restaurant.
She launched an USA Swimming team in Iowa in 2014, which she coached and owned for 2 years before turning over to a local rec team. Bachman played basketball at Bucknell University and earned her BA and MBA. Bachman is most proud of being a swim mom to Olivia- aged 16.
