Chris Hartley has worked in independent schools since 1992 and has held several positions: math teacher, dormitory parent, coach (football, golf, boys lacrosse), dean of students, high school director, founder and director of summer school programs, college counselor, and director of athletics since 2014 at Lakeside School in Seattle where he continues to coach boys lacrosse.
He was born and raised in Upstate New York; earned his undergraduate degree at Cornell University and received a Master’s in Education from the University of Massachusetts.
