RIP-IT’s co-creation product development process is the most empathetic in the world, dedicated entirely to female athletes. At RIP-IT, we work tirelessly to uncover and address the functional, social, and emotional challenges female athletes face when using men’s or unisex products.

For our volleyball shoes, we identified critical issues with the footwear offered by legacy brands. The top concerns for volleyball players were: losing toenails, insufficient traction on the court, and poor design and color choices.

To address these issues, our footwear team designed a shoe from the ground up, maximizing performance for women at every stage of development. This level of focus and dedication had never been done before.
