Tim Bainton, President of Blue Chip Sports Management (BCSM), based in Washington, D.C., is a preeminent professional in the sports management arena with a multifaceted role as a professor at Marymount University’s College of BILT. His extensive teaching portfolio encompasses sports management, sports marketing, sports communication, sports analytics, and organizational management. A former NCAA D1 full scholarship tennis player at George Mason University, Tim holds graduate degrees from Georgetown University in business and sports industry management. Tim is currently a doctoral candidate in business administration (business intelligence) at Marymount University. Tim is a prolific author, with three published books and over 100 articles to his credit, establishing himself as a thought leader in sports management. His expertise extends to public speaking, where he captivates audiences as a preeminent speaker, leader, and educator in the sports management domain. Featured in prestigious publications such as Club Business International and Club Solutions magazines, Tim's contributions to the field have garnered global recognition. With coaching experience at all levels, he has earned multiple accolades as a USPTA, PTR, and USTA sectional teaching professional of the year. Tim is fulfilling a “Bucket List” item currently serving as the Head Coach of the defending Atlantic East Conference Champion Men's and Women’s NCAA Tennis Teams at Marymount University.
