
Former USA Olympic Coach & Oregon State Head Coach
Terry Liskevych spent 12 years as the head coach of the USA National Women’s Volleyball Team. During his tenure with the National Team, the U.S. posted over 300 international victories and earned bronze medals at the 1992 Olympics and the 1990 World Championships. In 1995, Liskevych led his team to the gold medal at the World Grand Prix and was selected as the FIV International Coach of the Year. Liskevych's first head coaching position was at the helm of the Ohio State men’s team, where he twice took the team to the NCAA tournament Final Four in 1975 and 1976. He spent nine years (1976-1984) as the Head Women's Coach at the University of Pacific, leading the Tigers to five Final Four appearances prior to taking to the position with USA Volleyball. Liskevych successfully returned to coaching at Oregon State (2005-2016). In 2014, the Beavers made their first Sweet Sixteen in school history, and Liskevych was named both the Pac 12 Conference and NCAA Regional Coach of the Year.
