OPEN National Trainer and 2013 National High School Physical Education Teacher of the Year
Charla was the 2013 National High School Physical Education Teacher of the Year. She is a National Board Certified Teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Health/Physical Education from East Carolina University and a Masters degree in Education/Exercise Science from Campbell University. Charla retired in July 2014 after 32 years of teaching and coaching with the Wake County School System in North Carolina. Charla is an OPEN National Trainer and has presented across the United States.
