PTR Professional & USPTA Master Professional; Head Coach - University of Tennessee Southern
Bill is a tennis coaching and industry veteran of 30+ years and is the Men's & Women's Head Tennis Coach at The University of Tennessee Southern.
He is a Certified PTR Professional and USPTA Master Professional who has been a featured and keynote speaker at numerous tennis conferences, symposiums and workshops including the Australian Open Coaches Conference, the PTR Wimbledon Conference, the US Open Tennis Teachers Conference as well as others throughout the US, the Caribbean, China, Canada and in Europe.
He was recently awarded the USPTA Southern Division Allen Henry Professional of the Year and continues to contribute to the tennis industry with coach education courses, player development camps and training and mentoring. For 21 years he served as the Director of Tennis for the Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club and for the last 6 years as Director of Tennis for the seasonal tennis program at Temple Hills Country Club.
Bill also spends time working with the media creating content for social media outlets like Around the Court Around the World and the Citi Taste of Tennis where he has an ongoing segment called SERVE IT UP. From commentating for the WTA Tour to tennis tips to interviews, you can catch some of his work on a number of media channels and outlets.
