Former College Athlete & Current Director of Corporate Partnerships for Angel City FC
Mallen is currently the Director, Corporate Partnerships for Angel City FC, the new Los Angeles-based professional women’s soccer team joining the NWSL in Spring 2022. With an ownership group that includes Natalie Portman, Abby Wambach, Serena Williams, Eva Longoria among many others, Angel City has coined the Angel City Sponsorship model, which was the driving factor in Mallen joining the staff in April 2021. Angel City gives 10% of all sponsorship dollars back to the community through impact programs directly benefitting Angel City impact pillars of Equity, Essentials and Education.
Previously, Mallen spent 3.5 years as the Director of Sales & Partnerships at 2XU North America, a global leader in performance compression garments and athletic apparel. Mallen has previously held roles at the PGA TOUR, Nfinity Athletic Corp., Sport Chalet, K-Swiss and served as a Founder and Executive Board Member of WISE (Women in Sports & Events) for 13 years. A former college basketball player and coach, Mallen was an All-SCIAC First-Team Selection, winning to back-to-back SCIAC Championships her Junior and Senior seasons.
Mallen was nominated as an NCAA Woman of the Year and was selected as Senior of the Year at her alma mater, California Lutheran University. Mallen currently resides in Santa Monica, CA with her partner, and enjoys living an active lifestyle, traveling, being in the outdoors and spending quality time with family and friends.
