- Good Quality, Very Poor Design Review by Todd
Price Value Quality
My screens aren't stored inside when not in use, so I wanted a heavy duty screen. This screen is very well made, with heavy gauge steel. It's simple to put together (less than 5 minutes IF remembered to bring your own screw driver and crescent wrench (because they were not included unlike previous models). However, the problem comes in the design. The description says the joints slide/fit together, and they do. However, they don't stay together and, basically, you can't move it without it falling apart. They sent a wheel kit to let me move it without picking it up. That doesn't work at all b/c the wheels destabilize the whole thing when they lift the frame up in the middle. I'm sending the wheels back. I'll keep the frame and find someone with a heavy weight drill to drill holes through the joints, through which I will put bolts. All in all, this problem would be easily fixed in the design and will be a pain in the butt to fix after purchasing.
