No baseball or softball diamond is complete without the dish, and this MacGregor® Waffle-Style In-Ground Home Plate is designed to withstand the rigors of the season. Players can aggressively sprint home without worrying about injuries, thanks to the non-skid surface that prevent players' feet from flying out from under them when they come into score a run. The in-ground design holds fast against forceful slides, staying in place during tough plays at the plate, so it's ready for the next at-bat.
- Bright white color and black edges provide a reliable target for the pitcher
- In-ground design stays in place play after play for less maintenance between innings
- Rubber construction holds up to aggressive running and sliding to last for seasons to come

- Better than wood Review by lochlemonde
Quality Price Value
If it rains where you live, this is the home plate to buy. I have replaced dozens of the wood HPs due to the crazy fact that wood absorbs moisture!!!! If you place wood in the soil, where there is moisture, do you think it will rot?? Yes! I am surprised I haven't seen mushrooms growing around the wood plates. Every wood plate I have gone to adjust or remove, when I lift it out of the ground, the wood is completely saturated and it simply crumbles to pieces if bumped slightly, leaving another mess. Great idea from 1938. This is 2013.
